 Batam Trip at 09:25Planned for a short getaway with hl and sl. We made it come true and planned it like only 2-3 weeks. And finally off we went to batam for our 2 days 1 night short getaway to relieve our stress. Met hl early 7plus in the morning and she fetched me to go to habourfront to meet sl together. We had identical naraya bags and we brought it out coincidentally, we have much telepathy :)   We had our breakast at mos burger as macs was fully packed like sardin. So here is my piping hot waffles :)    After which we proceeded to check in to the habourfront ferry terminal. So we boarded the ferry, the ferry was full of people too, maybe becos it was a weekend. We nearly have to be separated due to it was fully packed. But luckily, some people just gave up the seats and we managed to get our seats. And off we go! :)     It's a 45 mins ferry ride. I would say the journey is just nice. Chatted a little while with the girls, listened to my songs till i fall asleep and soon we approached batam :)       Booked holiday inn for our hotel stay. I must say thumb up to their service. I always do a check on the hotel review before i go for a trip and book the hotel. Anyway, i booked my hotel from www.ja-travel.com It's really save alot of hassle for me to go book the ferry and the hotel. Each of us paid about S$180 (2 day 1 night) inclusive of hotel stay + ferry. Let me show you how beautiful holiday inn is.   By just looking at the swimming pool makes me feel like jumping into it for a swim. We wanted to go for a swim, but however time did not allowed us to do so, we seriously just ran out of time :( But i think we were quite smart to slot quite alot of activity within the 2 days trip.  We went touring and exploring around the hotel before heading to our hotel room.      Shui ling.  Hui ling :)   I looked damn exhausted without having ample sleep.      The 3 of us looking uber excited.      Yes holiday inn is a resort, great idea hotel stay for short getaway.  2 level of pools; adult pool and children pool.   Slide in the pool.       After which we went to nagoya hills shopping centre for A&W. We did some research before going off for our trip so that we will not be lost. A&W, absolute love.  Root beer float.  Curly fires.  Chicken strips.    Opposite nagoya shopping centre is ESKA Spa. I have did pretty much research on batam spa before making appointment with them for our spa treats :) It was pretty popular spa by Singaporeans .   Reached there an hour early and we really got no idea what to do so we told the receptionist we want to get some hair spa done to kill some time. Watching taiwan variety show while getting my hair spa done.  My alien head with the hair spa machine.  Encountered pretty funny stuffs while getting our body massage, body scrub and spa done. We were feeling pretty ticklish when the masseuse touches our feet, heh. And all along we were laughing like hell, lol. Spent like 3 hours inside the spa. After which we were all famished and headed back to nagoya for our late dinner. Wanted to go to the famous seafood place, but it was too late to do so. So we just settled down at godiva restaurant for our dinner.      Chocolate shake.   Here comes our dinner.   After our late dinner, all the shops were closed and we headed off from nagoya shopping centre and back to our hotel. The cab ride was super terrifying. Got ready to pack our stuffs and fall asleep soon. And soon, it was next morning already, we prepared ourselves and get our baggages ready for check out. Check out at the counter and soon we proceed for our breakfast.                 Full range of foods for you to choose.   Salad/appetizer corner.   Fruits.  Breads.  Drinks/cereals       Our foods.    Love morning cereals :)    After our breakfast, we waited our cab driver (the cab driver who fetched us from hotel to nagoya on our first day trip) to fetch us to mega mall and nagoya hills.     Initally we wanted to go to mega mall, but it was still not opened yet, so our cab driver (alam) brought us to nagoya shoppinh centre. Shopped for about 2 hrs before he fetched us again.           After which, we fetched us and brought us to megamall. Nothing much in mega mall. I think nagoya shopping centre has much more things and clothing.    We though alam was kind enough to tour us around at a reasonable cab fare. But in the end, he asked for RP $900,000 which was about S$50! Just for a day trip from our hotel to nagoya shopping centre then to mega mall and back to our hotel. It was really exaggerating. And soon, in the evening we travel back to singapore.  Authentic Ralph Lauren polo tee that i bought for B. There is a lot of unauthenic (fake) Ralph Lauren at batam. I did a research and found out that there is an authentic Ralph Lauren shop at megamall ferry terminal. They ran out off alot of design, sad uh? I guess many tourist went there and buy. Bought this special polo tee at S$86. A little cheaper than singapore retail shop and usual price is at S$120+.  Super nice egg yolk cookies!   Crackers bought at some hypermarket.  Salon hair straightener bought at nagoya hill. I bought tons of useless hair straightener which the effect does not really last. But this is what salon used when you are doing rebonding, i think they called it a flat iron straightener. I got it super cheap at S$20 only. But do note that you can adjust the temperature, try not to iron your hair too often or under high temperature cos your hair will have a risk of damaging. I only use it when my rebonding effect has gone or when i have a bad hair cut.  Super shiny sequin kitson bag. It's still stuffed in my wardrobe and i have yet the time to bring it out.  Spotted this pink furry booties when shopping. Bought it at S$35 and i think the shop keeper knew that i am tourist so she hiked the price. But i can't care much, cos i really love this boots till i have not wear it.  I just gonna pour out all my new clothes, shoes & bags one day and try to wear them.
