At last, here is my long awaited bangkok trip post :)

The 4 Days 3 Nights Bangkok trip was really quite a sudden one as i just need somewhere to de-stress.

So this time round choose to go for Bangkok for a really short getaway.

Air fares was really hiking at that time due to public holiday, but got no choice cos i just wanna go for some hardcore shopping.

Platinum mall (Now they got a new extension just beside platinum mall, but the new extension can be quite costly).

NARAYA (I went to central world there and spent S$120 over there over some bags, i just have the urge to grab everything i saw)

TK Restaurant at Chinatown (Freaking cheap seafood at only S$50+ for 2 pax)

Morning Pratunum Market (Get all your cheap buys from here, but you just gonna wake early 8am before all shop closes).

Siam Night Market (Alot of accessories and clothes at affordable price but to stuffy for me).

Bodytune (A great place for massage recommended by hoon)

Day 1
28 April 2011

So for my day 1 of my trip, i woke up freaking 3am plus in the morning and got myself prepared.

I was really looking very shag and tired.

And my luggage was so last minute packed only on the day before as this trip was only booked 3 weeks before.

After which we went to flag a cab at about 6.00am.

Our flight was at 7.20am and we were actually supposed to reach airport 2 hours before which is 5.30 but i couldn't really care much, cos i was very tired.

So dragged myself to the airport and i wanted have mac breakfast so we have to travel to terminal 2 for breakfast.

Ate another half an hour and i went back and shopped at DFS a little while.

Realized that our gate was going to close soon from the LCD screen.

I rushed and ran like a mad dog all the way from the automated escalator.

I thought the gate was pretty near the entrance but it was all the way far behind, so no choice but to run with my heavy tummy.

But lucky, we really managed to get to the plan on time like 5 minutes before our departure.

Soon, the plane departed at 7.20am and i saw the beautiful sunrise :)

This is my first time taking Thai airway, it's not bad still.

The flight was about 2.5 hrs and soon we approached Bangkok :)

Felt quite lost the moment we reached there due my first time visiting BKK.

Collected our baggages and went over to the taxi stand to board the taxi.

Taxi to our hotel at baiyoke sky was about $400 baht and due to the massive traffic jam we only managed to reach there the hotel in 1.5 hrs.

Received a good news from the hotel that our superior suite room at sky zone was fully booked so in exchange they gave us the junior deluxe suite room which was much bigger and spacious.

It was really way too big for us.

There was even a tv area with dinning table.

The first stop was to platinum mall.

I always heard that platinum mall has tons of good stuffs, so i decided to place it in number 1 in my shopping itinerary.

When i reach there, my jaw literally dropped out.

It was effing huge man, just like 2 times of far east plaza.

And that was not the end, there was also a new wing, so it's equivalent to 4 far east plaza.

It's really omg for girls, a place that you can thrash all your cash there.

Buy more pieces and you can haggle for a better price which they called it the supplier price, normally it's about 3 pieces & above.

So at the end of it, i got this tons of clothes from platinum mall after spending like 3- 4hrs.

Leaving the place with full satisfactions.

But, after shopping i realized our tummies were growling already.

Yah, shopping can makes me temporarily forget about my hunger.

So randomly, i went to a shopping center opposite platinum mall to buy macs to settle for my late lunch and early dinner.

So we had macs at the comfy dinning area.

Had this huge ovaltine drink.

Pork burger + fish burger.

After our satisfied dinner, we went to Naraya at central world.

Compared to taiwan naraya, of course bangkok has got much more variety as it is made from thailand.

The moment i stepped in the shop, i just felt like buying every design of the bags from big to small size.

It was really a very tough decision to choose the design i want.

Okay after an hour, i finally got like 6 bags from naraya which cost me about S$120.

After which we cabbed to chinatown for dinner.

Went to TK seafood restaurant for some seafood.

Orange juice.

Had shark fin, bird nest and my favourite black pepper crab.

The total bill only came up to be S$50 for 2 pax and i think it's damn super cheap and worth.

After which, we cabbed back to the hotel and rest for the day.

Day 2

There were a full variety of foods to choose, so i did not get tired about it at all.

After having our breakfast, we went back to prepare and head out in the afternoon.

Went platinum mall to shop again and got a lot of stuffs again.
My legs were feeling aching by then and we settled down for a cup of coffee.


Had black canyon coffee at basement 1 of platinum mall.










And we had our lunch at A&W (Pantip plaza).

Had very nice ice cream from basin robbins.


A very good dessert to have in the hot weather.





















Went back to the hotel in the evening.

Opposite the restaurant was their food court called fifth avenue.












At night, we went to bodytune to do our massage that we had reserved on the day before.
We went on the day before, but all the slots were fully booked.

So we have decided to place a booking and so we did our massage at about 11pm.

I had rejuvenating tangerine aromatherapy massage.
It was damn nice that i nearly fall asleep. 

And it's only about S$30 for 1.5hrs massage.

Most importantly, the ambience was really nice.

























After our massage, we went to buy banana prata back to hotel for supper and it was really nice.






Woke up early as usual for morning market and breakfast.





















In the afternoon we went to chaktuchak market for shopping.

The weather was really hot till i was perspiring all over.
After shopping for less than 2 hrs and we left the place.

In the end i only got a jacket from there.

I still think that platinum mall has got much more things to shop and it's a wasted trip to there :(

In the evening, we went to MBK for dinner and to buy the thai snacks.

So we went to MK restaurant for order tons of foods.

After which we went to siam night market for some shopping.




It's the last day of our trip.
Of course not to miss out the morning market, we woke early for it.

And after our breakfast, we prepared ourselves and our stuffs to prepare for check-out.

There was even catalogue for us to choose the design and colour.

But too bad, there was quite a lot of contact lenses sold out, so i only got those which are available for my degree.

Total spent was about S$40.

The rosewater toner was love cos it's organic and suitable for allergic skin.

Flying back to singapore after our 4 days 3 nights well spent at bangkok.

Looking very lazy cos i have been waking up pretty early for this trip in order to visit the morning market.

But i never regret going bangkok, cos it's really a nice place to shop but compared to taiwan, i will still choose taiwan due to their trends and foods :)
